Age Certificate
Age Certificate
Our film ‘soldier unknown’ is a very action packed film, that contains very strong language it was quite hard to choose between a 15 rating and 18. if we went for 18 we would of lost most of our target audience. This is why we requested a 15 certificate. This means a 15 would still appeal to our mass audience meaning will have more chance of good income.
Setting up when to film
Editing
Fade to black (Go to “Video Transitions” – “Dissolve”, drag it to the video clip/title, allowing for the clip to fade into a black background. This can be extended or shorten)
Channel Mixer (“Video effects” – “Channels” select “Channel Mixer and drag it to the clip you want. This allows for us to change the colour scheme on a clip. To go black and white click “Monochrome”)
Extending Scenes (Using the razor tool we cut 3 secs off the end clip and copied it and paced it to extend the scene. We could have used a freeze frame, but the computer I was using didn’t have the right software or capability to run the programme) Timeline

Script
Script:
Doctor: PTSD is a whole-body tragedy, an integral human event of enormous proportions with massive repercussions
Girlfriend: Ok Close your eyes
Party group: SUPRISE!
Doctor: This obsession is not healthy for your well-being,
Soldier: Hi you alright, I just got a flat.
doctor: we are going to put you on some harder medication to help you sleep
Doctor: the will to deny horrible events and the will to proclaim them aloud is the central dialectic of psychological trauma
Doctor: You've got to stop running away from your past!
Doctor: Even in times of trauma, we try to maintain a sense of normality until we no longer can.
Girlfriend: Hi, It's me again, I'm getting relly worried about him now, he's not taking his pills, I don't know what were going to do.
Doctor: That, my friend, is called surviving. Not healing. We never become whole again... we are survivors. If you are here today... you are a survivor. But those of us who have made it through hell and are still standing? We bare a different name: warriors.

This was our script that we used during our film trailer and we used professional actors they stuck to the lines and executed it perfectly.
Locations
in our film trailer we wanted to use so many different scenes but with limited timed to have people in our film so we had to settle for one of our house. then we had the idea of turning one house into the main characters home, the intention was to make the new setting homely this means we can invite the audience and make them feel welcome.
This is the outside of the house unfortunately this is not shown in the film but in the film it is mostly films inside the house.

One of the first scenes of the film trailer is the dinning room this is where surprise takes place. we used that area because it was good area for the camera to get the main character and people pulling the party poppers.
Lastly the kitchen was used. The scene that was used for was to show the audience that the main character has not been taking his pills. this is significant as at this point you see a different character. by using the kitchen it shows the audience he is normal as he keeps his pills in their.
Finally when it came to our research we haven’t come across any films that had a homely setting so we tried to accomplish this.

Costumes
In our trailer we used only two types of costumes this is because we wanted to focus on the main image of our main character being in the army. This is because our film is about a soldier retiring home from war, so by using army uniform it allows the audience to see he has been to war.
Our second costume that you can see in our film is a psychiatrist. this is because we want to emphasise the fact that the main character has PTSD. By having this they have to see the psychiatrist to help his PTSD. Having this costume it allows the audience to identify that the character needs help.
